    Dear Sir/Madam,
    RE: Item, Order Number, Date Purchased, Description

    I wrote to your office a week ago but have not heard back. I also called your customer service hot line, and while your representatives were pleasant, they were not able to solve my problem.

    As explained in my letter sent last week, I purchased the product and discovered it was broken.

    In that I really do not want to keep this item and certainly don't want to pay full price for it, please let me know where or how I can return it. Clearly this is not the item that was advertised nor is it up to your usual standards of quality.
