    RE: Trade agreement for name of event, promotion, media buy

    I've been giving some thought to your upcoming event, civic involvement, professional services, and I think we might both benefit from some collaboration.

    As you know, our company publishes a weekly newspaper, is well-entrenched in the community, provides database marketing and I see that your company/organization has advertising needs, runs large family events, operates a large database.

    I'd like to propose a reciprocal agreement that can help us achieve our mutual goals. We would also be willing to consider part-paid, part-trade if that's preferred.

    Based on our mutual rates, published fees, we could offer X# of column inches of advertising, X online impressions, X amount of publicity, or X volume of referred business. In exchange, we would like to obtain this amount of prominent publicity at your event, piggyback on 00,000 pieces of your direct mailings, be able to access your database via a joint promotion.

    For us, it would be advantageous to start this collaboration by our fiscal year in July, at the beginning of our busy spring season, in time for our fall campaign.
