Dear Sam,
Thank you so much for the opportunity to join you on your camping trip, visit the museum, watch the game at your house, but unfortunately, I've loaned my sleeping back to my son, just saw the museum show, won't be around at game time.
I've always enjoyed camping, museum-hopping, cheering the home team on with you, but I'm going to have to pass this time. Hopefully we can get together next time, next month, for the playoffs. Let me know if the waterfall is still running, how you liked the exhibit, who won.
