Birth Announcements by Profession
One clever way to announce a new arrival is by using words that play off a profession or hobby.
For Project Managers or Production people:
Sally and Steve are pleased to announce the birth of little Stephanie May who arrived on deadline, Thursday morning at 9 a.m. Entering the world in time for the weekly staff meeting, she greeted the group with a squeal and then promptly fell asleep as many do, for the next hour. Stephanie measured X" long and weighed Y pounds. She's call to schedule a set up meeting soon.
For Carpenters and Crafts people:
Holly, Henry, and big sister Henrietta are happy to welcome Henry II into their home where the family is celebrating their new addition.
For Teachers and day traders:
Jessie and John are delighted to welcome twins Mary and Michael into their lives. The twins arrived in time for the first bell.
For Caterers, chefs, and foodies:
Without reservations, Deena and Derek spent the evening at XYZ Hospital, dining on four-star cafeteria cuisine and relaxing over a fine bottle of water (well, ice cubes, mostly.) Baby Darwin was born somewhere between the appetizers and dessert, weighing in at premium X pounds, Y ounces.
For Golfers:
Sam and Susan missed tee time Sunday morning, date here, because they were tending to a little birdie of their own. Sarah Titlelist-Nike-Spaulding (only kidding) was born right after the 9th hole, weighing X pounds, Y ounces. She'll putt over to your place soon.
For Sales people, CPAs, and manufacturing types:
Marsha and Matt met their 4th quarter quota with the arrival of baby Melody who came in above goal, three days before end-of-year. Arriving in time to claim a tax deduction, Melody tallied X pounds, Y ounces, Z inches in length. We had her signed and delivered in 3 hours flat.
For Gardeners and Landscapers:
New Sprout! Tina and Tim are pleased to announce that baby Tommy arrived right after the last frost, noon, Wednesday, May 26th, measuring x" in length and y pounds, z ounces. He immediately asked for very small gardening gloves, loppers, and a rake. He did not want a dibble as he had plenty of dribble. Please visit often to watch our family grow.
